I was invited to attend the  invitation only event at the Botanist in Leeds last week for the Caorunn exclusive gin masterclass. I am always excited to try out new drinks and when I was told about this Scottish Gin i was keen to try it out. I was offered the opportunity to taste and create the bespoke Botanist Caorunn cocktail, this will feature on their menu throughout February.

Throughout the masterclass I learnt about Caorunn’s five unique, locally foraged Celtic botanicals including dandelion, heather, coul blush apple, bog myrtle and the fabled rowan berry. These handpicked botanicals delivers the gin’s clean, full-bodied and aromatic taste with its long-lasting dry and crisp finish. The mixologist created an exclusive cocktail called Bite from the Apple. The Caorunn G&T is uniquely served with thin slices of red apple along with premium tonic water and lots of ice.



Caorunn is proudly small batch and handcrafted in the Scottish Highlands. The gin was created personally in a unique way. I had so much fun making my own cocktail and really enjoyed the experience.
